Bracketology with Rev. Rage
Posted Mar 20, 2013 at 07:13 am

It is that time of year again. It feels like Christmas, without the maxed out credit cards, fully lit lawn decorations, annoying in-laws and nasty fruit cakes. It is March Madness and the brackets have been released. Now comes the arduous task of filling out your bracket, picking the upsets, knowing when chalk is the best choice, sure, all of us would have loved to see a 20 loss Liberty University team advance to the round of 64 and upset number 1 overall seed Louisville, but come on now, its just not going happen...plus the Flames lost last night to NC A&T. After numerous hours of pouring over the bracket and studying the different match-ups and teams and I ha...

The Kings of Tobacco Road!

The jump ball was the closest UNC got to competing with Duke last night. The Blue Devils came out looking for blood, and they found it.

Duke scored the first 14 points of the game and held that lead for the entire night, UNC could not ever manage to get the game back within single digits. The Blue Devils were simply too much for the stone cold Heels.

Duke was lead last night by seniors Mason Plumlee and Seth Curry, who scored a combined 43 points. Quinn Cook also scored in double figures, while Ryan Kelly added 8 points. Plumlee had a game high 13 rebounds as Duke out rebounded UNC 31-27.

The real story tonight for UNC was how bad they shot the ball. The ...

Duke Sucks!!

Fellow dook haters, listen very carefully. First off I love seeing dook lose, especially when my team is having an off year, of course it makes it even sweeter when it's to an unranked team which has happened a couple times already this season. But please do not make the mistake and start putting up things like "Duke Sucks" or saying things like "Duke isn't going to be a number 1 seed in the tourny anymore"...Trust me when I say that I've had to learn the hard way more than once that it's just to damn early to be talking shit about dook. And please don't forget that one of the best big men in the country has been on the bench for I believe every loss they have ...

Healthy Ryan Kelly = K's 5th Championship
Posted Mar 03, 2013 at 01:02 pm

I said it in January when he went out with a foot injury, and i am saying it now, Duke is a Championship team with Ryan Kelly on the court. How do you not step on the court for eight weeks and score 36 points against a top 5 team? It is one of the best comebacks I have seen the past 10 years.

Lets not forget some other things that went right for the Blue Devils tonight. Mason Plumlee rendered Reggie Johnson ineffective. Reggie got into foul trouble early in the game, forced by the physical play of Plumlee.

Seth Curry and Rasheed Sulimon had mediocre nights, both scoring in double figures but certainly not playing dominate Duke basketball. Quinn Cook, on the o...
