Clemson at. Duke

Duke University wins their second ACC game of the season by clocking Clemson in a 68-40 blowout. The Devils improve their season to 15-0 overall and 2-0 in ACC play.

Duke was propelled by sophomore PG Quinn Cook, who lead all scores with a career high of 27. Ryan Kelly added 12 points, while Seth Curry and Mason Plumlee each scored 8. Plumlee also added 13 rebounds and 5 assists to his stat sheet for the night. As impressive as Quinn Cook was on offensive, it is Dukes defense that should be applauded in this game.

The Blue Devils held Clemson to 28.3% from the field in last nights matchup. The Tigers were able to put only 10 points on the board before he...

No Leadership For TarHeels
Posted Jan 06, 2013 at 09:53 pm

The North Carolina Tar Heels lose their ACC opener in horrific fashion at UVA. The Heels, held to an anemic 52 points, committed 12 turnovers while garnering only 9 assists. UNC's record drops to 10-4 on the year, while their road record drops to 1-3, Long Beach State being their sole road win.

Clearly the problem is not the talent on the team. UNC is loaded with good players. James Michael McAd...

Roy Williams to Retire after 2012-2013 Season...?

Roy Williams may be considered one of America's premier college basketball coaches, but there is no denying that the Tar Heels have struggled under his tutelage the last few years.  Roy, a native North Carolina boy, has struggled with vertigo and other health issues over the last few seasons.  It has been obvious that there has been a lack of passion and lack of court aggression by the Tar Heels the last few season, which has a lot of UNC fans talking about how something is bad wrong.

Here we are only days from the start of ACC conference play with a tip-off against the Cavaliers on January 6th.  The Tar Heels are out of the top 25 and starting conference p...

To preface this note I will say this is to inspire debate and discussion. After the game on Wednsday night many people, including myself, have been discussing who the better team in the Tobacco Road rivalry is. But I think that it goes beyond this year.
